Ok I was thinking about religion and evolution. Now when it comes down to it I am a man of god. Though I was thinking god could have been the one to have wiped out the dinosaurs. So once he created us or another form us he decided to keep giving it upgrades. I mean who doesnt like giving their 65 shelby fastback upgrades I do. Well anyways what if he just wanted to add a couple of things or take things away like totally hair covered bodies and strait spines. I know its weird and this was just one of my odd thoughts I tend to have.:hmm:

I think time "wiped out" the dinosaurs as they slowly evolved into new species. By time I mean several hundred million years during which, of course the odd catastrophic event like a large comet strike might have pushed evolution a bit faster or several slow changes like prelonged periods of volcanic activity and resultant temperature change/climate or continental drift.

Changes in the environment change everything, including the human species, over time.

Theistic evolution is the perfect concept for anyone who believes in the existence of a creator, but wants to remain compatible with evolutionary science.

... what if he just wanted to add a couple of things or take things away like totally hair covered bodies and strait spines ...

That's exactly the concept of evolutionary creationism, except for that you are going a bit too fast with your theory. The 'adding and taking of a couple of things' (i.e. the genetic change) took over millions of years...

Hey there jakeman...ruminate on this for a bit...

Why would the 'Programmer' place fault on its own program(s)?

An all knowing and wise Programmer would take full responsibility for this lack of insight, I would hope...!!! :geek:

If not, then why on earth would the program, knowing it's been poorly programmed by the Programmer, get excited about being programmed in the first place?

After all, if you don't perform right, (even though the program is still faulty and in an experimental stage) the blame is 'still' placed on the program, rather than the Programmer, according to the program instructions/guide designed by the Programmer.

So those sinful faulty programs programmed by the big Programmer in the sky, are to either 1) perform 'perfectly' regardless of the faulty software in place by the Creator Programmer, or 2) be tossed in Haties a garbage heap, and on to the next project...

Oi, let me bow down to this mindless inventor 'Creator'...! :nw::nw::nw::nw::nw::nw:

No wait...that's right...it is written:

"As the Heavens are higher than the Earth, so are my 'ways' higher than yours...my 'thoughts' than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:9

Just stuff I think about from time to time, ;) lol :D

Cheers...

A very possible explanation but I partially deny its credibility....Because If it was God who wiped out dinosaurs why did he?

You are a man god and I am sure you believe God wouldn't do it without a reason..... :)

Thanks

I guess it could be providence or necessity - Man was about to arrive on the scene, and to have a chance for survival, he absolutely could not have a whole world full of gargantuan creatures that are just dangerous to be around for their sheer size, even vegetarians, but the predators too, Man would not have lasted any amount of time, not long enough to develop proper intelligence and reasoning and tool use, to endure the predation.

I'm going to take part of that out of context for a signature, if you don't mind.

if thats the case, gods a flawed designer. as they would have made something that they liked and enjoyed, not something where they later believe is **** so they wipe it off the face of the planet.
