Pantheistic Muslims?

I wonder if there are such kind of Muslims out there.

Probably the correct term might be 'Arab pantheists'. You know, pantheists with Arabic cultural background. Their meaning of' surrendering to Allah' might have a very different meaning from other Muslims. To them, surrendering to will of Allah means that they have to concentrate on here and now, than metaphysical afterlife.

To pantheists in general, there's no personal God. There's this Cosmos, the God that is the sum total of everything including you, me, and law of gravity. In that notion, God is neither good nor evil, since our plane of reality itself is God.

So the definition of God can be, without much stretch or mental gymnastics, very different from conventional theism. Some people will condemn it as a thinly-veiled atheism. But...so what?

It would be nice to see Muslims who can say "Eh, that's life." and walk away from many situations.

Presumably, a "Muslim" would be defined as one who follows the teachings of Allah, as revealed by the Prophet Mohammed.

This being the case, they could not be pantheistic, as Mohadded expressed.... umm.... "opinions"... about such beliefs. Rather sharp opinions.

"There is no god but Allah, and Muhammed is his prophet".

Or so they say !
