MID Posted March 3, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 3, 2010 About time. Yep...Long overdue. A republican wins in MA, the Democratic Disaster (Governor) of NJ is defeated, Rangel is out, and Perry wins the TX Governor's nomination... Next will be Harry Reid. Amazing how quickly people learn once they've really made a big mistake, isn't it?
Startraveler Posted March 3, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 3, 2010 This is good news. I hope Pete Stark keeps the reins for a long time to come.

IamsSon Posted March 3, 2010 #5 Share Posted March 3, 2010 Incredible how much pressure it took for the "most ethical Congress in history" to finally get this scum bag to step down... and it's not even a permanent thing. It's a good thing Pelosi was so on top of this!
AROCES Posted March 4, 2010 #6 Share Posted March 4, 2010 I was hoping Rangel not stepping down with a full Pelosi support. Too bad sometimes they come to their senses.
MID Posted March 4, 2010 #7 Share Posted March 4, 2010 Incredible how much pressure it took for the "most ethical Congress in history" to finally get this scum bag to step down... and it's not even a permanent thing. It's a good thing Pelosi was so on top of this! Even Pelosi knows she'd better support his stepping down. Her party's in enough trouble as it is. In fact, she's aware that while her seat in Congress is likely safe (she's from California, after all...), her queenship as Speaker is definitely not a secure thing... Tsukasa Posted March 5, 2010 Author #8 Share Posted March 5, 2010 This is good news. I hope Pete Stark keeps the reins for a long time to come. Stark only got it for one day. They put Rep Sander Levin in instead.
