This girl was really in a hurry one day so she just stopped off at a Taco Bell and got a Chicken soft taco and ate it on the way home. That night she noticed her jaw was kind of tight and swollen. The next day it was a little worse so she went to her doctor. He said she just had an allergic reaction to something and gave her some cream to rub on her jaw to help. After a couple of days the swelling had just gotten worse and she could hardly move her jaw. She went back to her doctor to see what was wrong. Her doctor had no idea so he started to run some tests. They scrubbed out the inside of her mouth to get tissue samples and they also took some saliva samples. Well, they found out what was wrong. Apparently her chicken soft taco had a pregnant roach in it, then she ate it-the eggs then some how got into her saliva glands and well, she was incubating them. They had to remove a couple a layers of her inner mouth to get all the eggs out. If they hadn't figured out what was going on, the eggs would have hatched inside the lining of her mouth!!!!!!!!!! She's suing Taco Bell! Of course. If you need to find out more about this, it's in the Nov. 19th NY Times. If you still want Taco Bell after this one, you're really brave. stargazer123 Posted March 21, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2006 I have heard urban legends similar to this one. I think the one I heard was snake eggs hatching in someone's sinuses. This is just beyond disgusting. I don't eat Taco bell so no worry hear. This one gives me the shivers though even thouh its not real. I am terrifed of Cockroaches more than anything. The ones where I live look like genetic defects. They grow to be enormous and fly. Every once in a while they will get in the house and I'll walk into the bathroom and see one. I remember a couple of years ago watching a show on Urban Legends and it proved it wasn't true. Besides, one would think that even if there were eggs in the meat, the cooking process would've killed them. Excuse me now, I have a Taco to eat. Mmmm....yo quiero Taco Bell. Here the majour ones are pretty good most of the time. I have never worked in one myself but have had many friends who have and they tell me hygene is acutally pretty strick and does happen. They didn't specify a year, so you'd have to look through every publication since 1962, the year Taco Bell was founded. This story is just trying to slander Taco Bell's great and tasty image. She thought it was a boil, so she went to the doctor and he gave her some cream for it, but it just kept getting worse and one night it burst open and a bunch of baby spiders came out. Obviously just an Urban Legend, but still able to turn my stomach. There was, however, a mexican restaurant where I used to live that got shut down for having roaches and roach eggs in their food. (of course none of them stopped me, haha) I used to have a police scanner, and I once picked up a pizza guy talking to one of his friends and telling them how if he was going to a house that he had been to before and he knew they weren't gonna tip, he'd do nasty things (much too gross to put on here) to their pizza. . .There's a good lesson for everyone. . .Always tip your pizza guy!
