so the F.D.A. is looking into allowing a british Lab to release geneticly modified , infected mosquitos in south Florida to breed with local mosquitos ..in order to reduce the population ...While I strongly dislike the little blood suckers and giving THEM herpes sound o.k. ..something about releasing these things sounds like a horror movie about to happen ...we might be due for population control I suppose ..

Anyone actually this this is the bext plan? lol

That would be the same public that 80% said we should have "mandatory labels on food containing DNA". So, frankly, I don't think we should hold public opinion up in the face of good science.

These mosquitoes are AWESOME. Mosquito-borne illness is one of the biggest killers in nature. Now they need to double down on the deal and develop strains for malaria and West Nile virus.

Remember, if you're opposed to this, the alternative is more and more chemical pesticides.
