Blink4567 Posted May 23, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 23, 2013 The crossing was broken, With no healing in sight, The crossing was broken, No voice in the night, The crossing was broken, We built all day long, The crossing was broken, with one word the bridge was gone. The crossing was broken, we thought it would last. The crossing was broken, it was built to fast. The crossing was broken, how could it be, The crossing was broken, The reason was me. The crossing was broken, I tore it all down, The crossing was broken, I burnt it to the ground. The crossing was broken, I sat and I wept, The crossing was broken, It was time to accept. The crossing was broken, We did what we could, The crossing was broken, And broken for good. The crossing was broken, I looked once again, The crossing was broken, But it wasn't the end. The crossing was broken, I picked up my tools. The crossing was broken, I t's time to break the rules. The crossing was broken, I couldn't do it alone, The crossing was broken, The wood was still whole. The crossing was broken, With hammer in hand, The crossing was broken, Each piece I would stand. The crossing was broken, We built all day long, The crossing was broken, We kept getting further along. The crossing was broken, One more to go, The Crossing was broken, Again The bridge was whole.
Clarakore Posted May 24, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 24, 2013 Excellent. Many discuss burning bridges, metaphorically speaking, so great to see them being rebuilt.

Clarakore Posted May 24, 2013 #5 Share Posted May 24, 2013 Building bridges is also harder than burning them and harder than most realize. Caesar was noted for being a bridge builder, literally, he had one built over the Rhine in record time. And there is always the fact that having help from someone else to rebuild makes it so much easier and enjoyable. Your message is very hopeful to all. It is wonderful this is the stage you find yourself at and were willing to share with us.
