Regency Posted June 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2007 (edited) Hi Guys My niece took this photo last summer and it freaked her out because she could see straight away on her digital camera this anomoly, she thinks she caught a ghost. She was in a car at the time and my feeling is that it's a reflection on the window? What do you think? She was convinced - as you are when you're the one who took the photo - that there was something wrong here and with the photo. I always poo-poo'ed it as a reflection. But I see that face. LOL It is hard to define reflections, but usually they are something from the dashboard, steering wheel, or on the seat. That is pretty weird looking thing "with a big ole butt." Was Oprah around? Everyone is focused on the weird shape .. but what if what your looking at is light from behind her shining on the window (ok there's some reflection) .. The weird shape is formed from the seat/dashboard shading left/right most part of the window so there's no light reflecting there creating a reverse silhouette. Thozzman Posted June 21, 2007 #18 Share Posted June 21, 2007 Considering it was obviously a bright sunlit day it doesn't look like, or seem that the flash would be needed or even work, (if the camera has auto-flash). I think it's more than likely a reflection from within the car due to the brightness of the sky. It might be paranormal, but who can really tell? You put the camera on long exposure mode and then move it around gently as it takes the picture. I do find this pic remarkable though because usually those kinds of pics are blury. Episteme Posted June 22, 2007 #25 Share Posted June 22, 2007 I guess the easiest way to tell if it's a reflection would be to try to figure out the layout of the car, all the stuff they had in the car, especially if they were on a trip. Is it just me or does this look like a Cocker Spaniel? It would have to be one tiny spaniel to be in the car but...
