Ghost Photographer Seeks Team

So - for whatever reason, I seem to have a real knack for capturing strange things with my camera. REALLY. I think it would be very cool to put this ability to good use by teaming up with a paranormal investigation team - but I don't know anyone who'd be into that sort of thing. I dont have much experience with video cameras, and so far all of the paranormal pics I've taken have been with regular digital cameras - but I've gotten A LOT of pretty darn amazing images....and that's without even trying. I don't claim to be a medium or anything like that. I don't communicate with spirits and/or pan-dimensional beings - I just seem to have a talent for taking photos of them.

Anyone interested?

Jess

Those are some cool pictures, but being a Seahawk fan I doubt I can work with you and live with myself.

Just kidding, nice pictures.

Why the trouble with Focusing ? I don't think any credible team would want out of focus pictures .

Can you give some context to the photos? It's hard to know what you think in each one should be interpreted as evidence of anything paranormal.

Any chance of hosting them online at original resolution with EXIF data attached? It's sometimes useful to have that info available.

The first one appears to be taken through a double glazing window hence the classic double reflection of an indoor light seen in the pic and what appears to be what could look like a street light causing the main bright light in the pic.

The second one appears to me to be a photo of rain or snow. Are you attaching some sort of significance to the "orbs" seen in the pic?

The third one again I'm not sure what you think we should be looking at. Is it the person on the bottom of the picture or the lens flare at the top or something else?

The fourth one just looks like an outside photo of a dog overexposed by bright camera flash.

Without any sort of context or explanation it's hard to know what you expect people to make from them. I don't think any sort of serious paranormal group is going to be interested TBH.

The first photo was taken of the (normal/mundane/boring) street in front of my house during an eclipse. I took it while standing outside on my front steps. There are no reflected images because I wasn't taking it from behind a window. I did not include an explanation of the image because I don't know how to explain it - or even describe it. I wish I had a larger file size, but unfortunately I was using my daughters camera and she had the image file size set to the lowest option.

As to the dog pic - all I did was enhance the fill lighting. I've taken a lot of pics but this is the only one in which the subject as ever exhibited a red fiery aura. Again - I have no idea what it is, or why it happened to show up in my pics. I don't KNOW what any of the strange anomalies are that frequently show up in my photos. I do know that they are NOT reflections or photoshop trickery.

Oh yeah - regarding the building photo - it was taken on a clear evening in West Hollywood. No snow. No rain. I was just taking a pic of the tower

Honestly, I'm not seeing any ghosts.

But if you are looking to get with an investigative group, why not try local groups that already exist? Or try more local ghost boards to find a team? I ask this because this is a pretty far flung forum and you might not get anyone in your area.

You really shouldn't take photos at such absurdly low resolution settings. The one you mention above of the street outside your house was taken with a 16 megapixel camera (Sony WDC 570 according to the EXIF data which isn't available for all of them), yet all 4 of those photos are bizarrely low (yet different including one square aspect ratio) resolutions - 379x379, 436x548, 627x480, 360x480.

I suspect that the software being used to export the photos before being uploaded (Picasa according to the EXIF) is set to the lowest settings (although that wouldn't explain the range of different resolutions) as I don't think that even a half-baked phone camera these days could take pics at those resolutions (especially oddball resolutions and aspect ratios like 379x379).

Anyway, I was asking for an explanation in the sense that instead of simply uploading them and expecting people to try and guess what it is they think they should be seeing, you should offer an explanation as to why you think they are interesting and why you think a paranormal group would want to investigate them.
