I am done with it....I got it because I work rotating shifts...Only for the graveyard shift.

From what my wife tells me, I was very out of it.....No more for me.

Yeah it's heavy duty.  My brother filmed me one time doing stuff.  I watched the video the next day and had no memory of doing any of the stuff he filmed.  It was a very weird feeling to say the least!

So if you're really still wondering, OP, why people react the way they do here to pictures and/or stories like you have brought us here, you can now see, as your pic/thread has become an example itself. Unless that's really the ghost of Einstein in that photo, flipping us the tongue.

I will be very, very unsurprised if the OP disappears.

Yes they seem to get frustrated if people don't go along with their stories.

I'm glad the truth was revealed. I just have to add (I'm sure others have said it elsewhere, but I think it bears repeating on all of these threads containing faked images from newbies who disappear once they've been exposed): These pranksters make it very difficult for those of us who have an open mind to continue to keep that open mind. It's a classic example of "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me." When open-minded people are constantly played for fools by frauds, we get to the point where we feel like doormats for trying to keep an open mind.

pfffft on the OP and his ilk. :td:

I am concerned for this child, not because of the 'ghosts faces', but who gives a child of that age such a large bottle of Coke and a big bag of crisps...
After being on UM for 5 years now, it still amuses me when I see reminders of our diverse terms for things like a 'bag of crisps' vs. 'a bag of potato chips'.
It's the simple things like this that make my life more 'colourful' I guess. :D

No, I haven't run off crying to my mommy that nobody believes my ghost story.
No, you haven't scared me off because my "scam" was "proven" false.
I have not posted or stated anything that I haven't intentionally known to be false.
This 1 instance of "paranormal activity" is NOT the foundation for my beliefs.

This was neither a scam, nor do I believe anything has been "proven" except the fact that people have different beliefs and views on certain topics and with the technology today, you HAVE TO BE EXTREMELY SKEPTICAL ABOUT PRACTICALLY EVERYTHING.

I get it, I do.

As for the picture and my original post - I believe that ghosts are real and they can be captured on image or whatever, whether I think this particular image is authentic, I believe it has a higher chance to be true than false only because I trust the middleman (my boss) and the original picture holder (my client) as well as the likelyhood that someone hacked her phone while taking the pic just for a prank... I say very unlikely. But then again, my opinion is only rooted from my original belief that there  IS a spiritual and paranormal realm that we do not understand fully yet, but I believe its real.

What I returned to say is this:

Unless you have a divine, paranormal, or super-spiritual personal experience, there is a very low percentage that you will believe in anything related to these kinds of matters. Even if you were to be involved in a "mind-altering experience" - some of you may dismiss it as a figure of your imagination because you've built up a bias that permits you to believe these things do not exist unless its lasting affects are drastic - and even then you might still make an excuse to the validity of whatever it is you wish not to believe.

The mind is a powerful thing, I know we can all agree on that because that’s usually the excuse everyone uses to explain other's personal experiences - "that wasn’t actually a demon that was just your imagination or your mind on drugs".

If your mind can make something appear, wouldn't it make sense to believe that your mind can ignore something that is actually there just as easy if not easier? It goes both ways.

Or is it a possibility that the supernatural, spiritual, paranormal occurences are actually planted in our minds and thats how they reveal themselves to us, it doesn't mean that they arent real, but they have the power to control who sees them and who doesnt...

Who are we to say? we know practically nothing on this universe and dare i say a fraction of the world we live on.

Believers will believe, non-believers will be haters until something reveals itself to them personally. And on that topic, I think that the spiritual world is very selective to who it presents itself to. I'm no Christian, I used to be a hardcore atheist. Now I would describe myself as "spiritual". I believe as time goes by there will be undeniable evidence of the spiritual world. Until then, its extremely easy to debunk what evidence we do have because with the technology we have today, we can make anything seem real - from millionaire family members asking for money in an offshore bank account to an onion charging an ipod... at least we are able to proof or disproof these things... as for the spiritual aspects, we cant. Only your personal experiences can prove the supernatural - maybe it was meant to be that way.

Im not the type of person to get upset over someone not believing what I say is truth, because people do lie, thats understandable. On the other hand, I do get upset when people are so ignorant and closed minded that they write off the matter at hand as completely false because they fail to understand or calculate the product of what is being presented to them.
