UM-Bot Posted April 23, 2003 #1 Share Posted April 23, 2003 A dog in California has survived being hit by a car, being shot in the head and being stuck in a freezer for two hours - all in the one day. Dosha was first hit by a car in Clearlake and then shot by a police officer who was trying to put the animal out of its misery. The dog was presumed dead and taken to an Animal Control centre, where she was put in a freezer. However, a few hours later an official went to the freezer and found Dosha alive - but cold. Mystify Posted April 23, 2003 #2 Share Posted April 23, 2003 I think that is actually quite sad. Obviously someone didn't take the time to check their patient well enough to know how bad it was hurt. I almost cried. Maybe it's because i have dog and would die if anyone treated it that way! Even by mistake
Saru Posted April 23, 2003 #3 Share Posted April 23, 2003 I agree, I think this demonstrates a lack of care on the part of whoever was in charge of determining the dog's condition. It's one almighty lucky dog, but at the same time it's one almighty cockup by someone somewhere along the line.
albaqwerty Posted April 23, 2003 #4 Share Posted April 23, 2003 I hope someone is found responsible for this! It is a disgrace. I do wonder tho if it might be the attitude 'oh, it's just a dog' which is a criminal attitude in my humble opinion.
Homer Posted April 23, 2003 #5 Share Posted April 23, 2003 What a heart breaking story. It’s hard to know what to say after reading something like this. I hope the poor dog has a full recovery and a loving family
neen Posted April 23, 2003 #6 Share Posted April 23, 2003 It would be nice to hear a follow up story to this one, just to know that the poor darlin was well and taken care of in a good family
Skep_Tick Posted April 24, 2003 #7 Share Posted April 24, 2003 They should just kill the poor thing. It must have part of its head blown off already.
