Your all far too subtle for me I'm afraid; guess I'm well out of my depth in this company.

You seem perfectly astute to me :)

Wasn't this predicted ? UFOs would be all over these Olympics ...

They took that video away for copyright reasons..

So, I looked another one up.. and got this..

As so many have suggested..Taking shots of the stadium from above...It was in the shape of the blimp...

Well, how about these? These are the official mascots (apparently, though I don't think I've seen very much of them.) Whatever do they represent? :unsure2:

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW! I've never seen them before as i do not watch the Olympics. Bizarre! Wiki says they're supposed to be "drops of steel with cameras for eyes", and they represent the british industrial revolution.... for me, they represent evidence that thy should also test their designers for forbidden substances....

It is a blimp, here.

http://www.tyrepress.com/News/25816.html

The Goodyear blimp will be present over London during the Olympics later this month and in August thanks to Goodyear’s selection as provider of aerial images by the US-based NBC network. Goodyear will lend its aerial presence to NBC Olympics’ coverage of the Olympic Games for the tenth time; the company most recently worked for NBC Olympics during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

i hate to be the nitpicker, but: IF a UFO had a defined shape that it could be recognized on, wouldn't that make it an IFO? Just wondering....

Don't you think that if ETs or aliens wanted to observe something in cognito, they'd disguise themselves as something that people might expect to see? Stands to reason.

OK here's the blimp; unfortunately the object in the clip is not the same. The clip shows a two section craft like a classic saucer; sorry.

Doesn't look the same object to me. Far too elongated compared to the clip; and no upper illuminated section. Good try though. :alien:

This just goes to show how powerful the dismissive culture really is on this forum:

This puts to rest the theory that the Olympic UFO was the Goodyear blimp, apart from the fact that the Blimp was indeed grounded during the opening ceremony, no anti-collision lights or strobes are visible on the unknown object.

not sure on this one guys,

http://www.goodyearblimp.co.uk/blimp-tracker/

seems you can track the blimps historic journey and see how it matches with images of 'UFO'

in addition the aerial shots the blimp was taking should be recognisable from an opposite perspective to those of the 'UFO' from ground level...

seems a bit of work is needed but this should determmine quite easily whether the object is a blimp or not.

Zoser, have you any further details on the 'grounded at the time ' comment as I would liek to follwo this up.

cheers

Seems like they were seen well before the opening ceremony:

interesting.

The odds of a UFO being seen over the olympics was 1000-1. To pay out the bookies required either the US president or UK prime minister to confirm a UFO was ove rthe Skies of the UK during olympics.

The odds of either of the two mentioned disclosing confirmation of alien existence is only 100-1 ..

the tracker is rubbish TBH, wont tell us much.

looks like the pilots log would be better but has yet to be updated.

ok, i gotta admit that the object in the video doesn't look too much like the goodyear blimp. I'd like to know what the organisators had in the air at the time of this event, maybe their own air vehicles for birds-eye view cameras? It would make more sense to me than alien activity.

Who'd cross time and space to monitor such a boring spectacle? PLUS expose themselves while being present?

The shape of a UFO?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Are you serious?!

Any shape cna be a UFO as a UFO cna be any flying thing that is not identified. (Which could include birds, planes, helicopters and BLIMPS)

Oh the Goodyear Blimp again? That settles it then. Damn thing gets everywhere; how come it didn't burst with all those fireworks?

Cause it wasn't that close....

Also it was seen throughout the day in the same area. It's also relaly obvious when yousee it close up. lol

Also in the video you posted it shows how the white bits ont he blimp reflect light into a sort of oval shaped light with the middle (blue bit) looking alike a void. Which looks identical to the oval shaped light that is supposedly the UFO.
