The Cydonia Region

Dowdy

Recommended Posts

we all know that the cydonia region is the area of Mars that has the alleged 'face' on it but that never convinced me of a past civilisation on Mars. What really got me thinking was the 'pyramids' that are also in the same region.

the pyramids itself look like nothing really but i remembered what someone said on this kids science show, 'Y?', "there are no straight lines in nature"

Dowdy,

The pyramids in the Cydonia region are something of a mystery. The photographs do show a region in which is situated a number of pyramid shaped objects. I've heard it said that the odds of such geometrically perfect formations occuring naturally are millions to one, but this of course doesn't mean that it can't happen.

Are there Global Surveyor images of the pyramids ? It would be interesting to see the very latest shots of the area, to see if these objects are actual pyramids, and not tricks of the light as turned out to be the case with the Face.

Throughout the world there are similar tales of a great flood that wiped out the world and it took years before that event lead to the recolonization of the terrain. Well on that thought couldn't you postilate that the flood had happened on lets say Mars for example, and in the great saving of life they came here and populated the Earth? I genuinly(sp?) think that the Pyramids in Cydonia are the precursors to the Pyramids in Egypt. :sa

I too think that the pyramids on mars are the precursors of the ones here on earth, but i think that the flood happened here on earth and that we survived that but got set back in technological advancement, so we had to start again, so to speak (or type in this case).

Although Sitchin stated that humans started out on another planet and came to earth when planet x was ripped appart due to the gravitational forces of the other planets or some such, and given the fact that he has been discredited, I think that he may have been on to something and that we may have originated from mars if from anywhere at all. Something happened to mars and we had to come here. but because of the polar magnetic shift we either lost all of our technological advancement and set ourselves irretrievably back or we were brought here and then had to make do with what we found.

or we could have been brought here and already on this planet there was some sort of primitive human life.

This could have then been recorded in the opening pages of the bible and other religious texts.

The only problem here is that we can't prove it and that if we could who would believe that humanity has risen to technological greatness only to forget it all but for a few hints left us by our distant selves.

The other problem is that this would have had to have happened a long time ago, before we could ever dream of, and it happened over and over again, which would bring into play the mayan calendar in that it has already happened 6 times before.

We live on earth where there is an atmosphere... Mars has little atmosphere and thus "nature" is very different there.

You may want to check the latest IR images

Run your skeptical eyes over this !!!!!

I can take a negative of a city and superimpose it on mars too. all it takes is a little photo shop.

And where is the giant spaceship that brought us from mars to earth?

You believe him because he was discredited? Your joking right?

The Bible doesnt say anything about planet x or mars!

In order for a worldwide flood to occur a massive amount of water would have to come from somewhere, an ecosystem cant just make water. And if the world has flooded 6 times where did the water go, an ecosystem cant make water disappear either. What does the mayan calender have to do with anything?
