EllJay Posted November 7, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2012 Are you following it on TV, online or radio? Are you watching it Fox or CNN? What do you think of the prognosis from the swing-states? As of now it seems, with Vermont and Kentucky Romney has 23 to Obama's 3 electroal votes, but Obama is ahead in Florida as of now in the counting. Its only starting, but how will it end? EllJay Posted November 7, 2012 Author #7 Share Posted November 7, 2012 (edited) Lots of exit polls, highly flexible though, but they pumping them out. 20% votes in some Ohio counties and Obama is ahead. Its like a boxing match, back and forth, back and forth. Looks like Richard "-Rape is Gods intention" Mourdock is getting hammered in Indiana. Maybe its "God’s intention". Hope so. 73 Romney - 64 Obama in electroal votes Edited November 7, 2012 by EllJay
Wickian Posted November 7, 2012 #8 Share Posted November 7, 2012 I don't care much for commentary, so I'm just following the live maps online. Florida is a tight race, the lead keeps changing.
Ashotep Posted November 7, 2012 #9 Share Posted November 7, 2012 I watching it on NBC. Can't wait until this is over. No more political phones calls and mounds of junk mail.

You didn't get a call from Obama himself today? I saw he did a few calls himself when he visited some campaign offices today.
EllJay Posted November 7, 2012 Author #11 Share Posted November 7, 2012 (edited) The Democrats seems to be taking a few new seats in the senate. 14 new states coming up in the next hour. 156 electroal votes at stake. Wickian Posted November 7, 2012 #12 Share Posted November 7, 2012 Florida is only separated by a few thousand votes now. Gonna be real close. If Obama takes Florida then he'll probably win since California is pretty much guaranteed Democrat.
EllJay Posted November 7, 2012 Author #13 Share Posted November 7, 2012 (edited) Yeah, some 600 votes at the last check I think. Florida is a emmeffer. Obama won Pennsylvania though. Ohio is a Obama-lead at some 50% vote. And Richard "-Rape is Gods intention" Mourdock went down in Indiana. God had a plan after all. EDIT: Looks like the votes left in Florida is from Democratic areas, so it might swing Obamas way. We know soon 158 Romney - 143 Obama in electroal votes right now. Jeremiah65 Posted November 7, 2012 #16 Share Posted November 7, 2012 I'm not following it. The endless theorizing of the pundits made me about half sick 30 minutes into the coverage. They wil say and do anything to make "their guy" look to be on a landslide victory path...all it does is wind people up tighter than a drumhead...pretty sad to me. I will wait till it's all over and announced and then quietly die inside regardless who wins.

MissMelsWell Posted November 7, 2012 #20 Share Posted November 7, 2012 I'm pretty sure we're looking at a clear Obama win. Things are looking pretty somber on the Romney side. It's really not going their way. I can't say I'm displeased.

Corp Posted November 7, 2012 #22 Share Posted November 7, 2012 Yep win for Obama. Looking like he's going to take most of the states that are still up in the air so looking like a weaker, but solid win for the Dems. So no lawsuits!

RavenHawk Posted November 7, 2012 #24 Share Posted November 7, 2012 NBC is calling Obama. Talk about deserving the government we elect. I guess people don't realize that now, Obama becomes a lame duck and that the House and Senate will not change. There is going to be another 4 years of gridlock. There is no compromising with Socialism. Does anybody here actually see Obama offer a open hand to the GOP? Not only will unemployment at the very lease hover around 8%, but job participation will dwindle. Of course there is the Bush tax cuts that will expire, automatic across the board budget cuts, and the fiasco of Obamacare. But don't heed me, let's see what happens in the next few years. EllJay Posted November 7, 2012 Author #25 Share Posted November 7, 2012 (edited) It will be just as yesterday. Obama in place,,, Senate Democratic and the House is Republicans. The only difference is that they will dig in like badgers, so deep that nothing will happened in the country until the House get election again. Now CNN went with Obama. Obama wins.
