Wickian Posted June 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2014 Department of Homeland Security chief Jeh Johnson suggested Thursday he would not block the growing wave of illegal immigrants who are crossing the Texas border until the GOP agrees to pass the Senate immigration rewrite that is backed by President Obama. He twice refused to set any limit on the number of foreign youths who would be given the opportunity to ask the administration’s immigration judges for permission to live in the United States. Johnson and several deputies delivered the threat to GOP legislators during a brief June 12 press conference. link Well there we have it, the head of the DHS has pretty much said, "grant the Democrat amnesty bill or I'm going to stop enforcing any kind of border security." What a way to secure the country.

+and-then Posted June 13, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2014 link Well there we have it, the head of the DHS has pretty much said, "grant the Democrat amnesty bill or I'm going to stop enforcing any kind of border security." What a way to secure the country. This has been the most lawless presidential administration in American history. The republicans have historically tried to seem "above" the nasty, brute force of politics but this administration has gone for broke and now if the right ever gains power again and tries to do the same there will be all out political war - which means continuing gridlock so tight that only an imperial president will be able to accomplish anything. The wheels have finally come off and it seems to be time for a revolution. Not the kind where you gun down some hapless leo in a restaurant but the kind where civil disobedience on a massive scale starts the pols remembering (hopefully) that the worker bees still have SOME say in what is being done to/with them. +DieChecker Posted June 13, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2014 I say let the Orphans (They are being sent over alone, right?) come. When they are treated badly, the Rs can point at the Ds and say they invited them in. Perhaps these kids being ruined will trend the Hispanic Vote over toward the Rs?
