image tags

I have always used the

tags ...

but now it doesn't work, have things changed? Please instruct on how can I continue to post images.

also, the image button, where you paste in a url isn't working for me either

No changes on this end, can you describe specifically what isn't working for you when you try post an image ?

If I try to use the url link (image button) it puts a box with a blue question mark in place of the image...

if I try to use the tags, it gives me this error message:

An error occurred

You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community.

It sounds like you are using an invalid image URL, the link needs to be to a file with a valid image extension.

What is the URL you are trying to use ?

Yes, I've got that when I've tried to use smilies or Emoticons from somewhere else.

have you tried using the 'image' icon (that one that I presume is supposed to represent a picture) in the Toolbar?
