JennRose Posted December 9, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 9, 2004 (edited) If you could see any band (or solo artist) perform live onstage, who would it be? They can be still together, disbanded or deceased. This is just an 'I wish' thread. My choice right now would be to see The Band's farewell concert in '76 that was the material for the musical documentary The Last Waltz (Scorcese directed). Whoo!!...Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Muddy Waters, Joni Mitchell, Emmylou Harris, Eric Clapton and more all on the same stage putting on an unforgettable show. I would build a time machine just for that! Ok, music lovers, who would it be for you?? Edited December 9, 2004 by JennRose

Insight Posted December 9, 2004 #4 Share Posted December 9, 2004 It would have to be Beastie Boys for me. They were in Vancouver awhile ago and I totally missed them. I doubt they'll ever come back. *shoots himself in the neck* Tupac would also definately been a good show. But as far as hip hop is concerned, I'd rather see a combo of Jurassic 5 and Blackalicious. Guest Posted December 9, 2004 #5 Share Posted December 9, 2004 I would have LOVED to see David Bowie back in the 70's or 80's. I saw him back in April, but I'm sure it would have been something else to see him back then. I'd also like to see Nirvana, since Kurt Cobain died so soon I never got to see them. Now that would have been an awesome show I'm sure. And I also wish that I could go back to 1995 and see the Smashing Pumpkins on their Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness tour, since my mom didn't let me go when they came to my city.
