Still Waters Posted April 17, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 17, 2012 Researchers at Glasgow University have developed a new process which they say can "print" drugs.They are using 3D printing technology which could in theory lead to people having a "personal pharmacy" dispensing medicines at home. A variety of molecules have already been made, including some anti-cancer drugs. The team said its research could make it possible to diagnose an illness before it occurs - and produce a cure. reggie2011 Posted April 18, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 18, 2012 i can think of at least three things wrong with that instantly.. 1/to print the printer would have to be full of base chemicals to produc a range of drugs substancial enough to make it worth it. 2/ these same pure chemicals would be defenetly hacked machines for the drug trade example;psudo ephdrine from cold and flu pills also used for makeing the worlds most addictive drugs ie.speed crank ice meth anphitimene 3/it would also pose an extrem health hazzard' explosions,suicidal persons,health to anyone around the machine has an exposior risk the amount it would cost and the time it would take to make a viable product ,we would already have a cure or immunity to every common illness so no this project is a waist of time and money.
