Still Waters Posted November 16, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 16, 2014 A wearable camera that hooks around the ear could become a constant meal companion for people who want to accurately monitor their diet. Many fitness trackers and exercise apps include a diet component, but all of them require users to self-report how much they eat. That method can lead to unreliable data, as people may forget to report some meals, poorly estimate how much they're actually eating or underreport their meals on purpose. https://uk.news.yaho...76.html#1uBDH6L

On the front of the AIM is a camera that can snap pictures of what you eat and drink. It also has a motion sensor that sticks to your jaw, under the earlobe, to sense movement. ---------------------'- The big brother of food. Do people really have to do this to monitor what they eat to this extent? . Nothing goes intp my mouth which needs monitoring. Some people are so taken in by gadgets that their brains no longer need to do anything, apart from rely on the gadget. Whats wrong with just looking at whats on their plate if they want to research eating behaviour. But.....maybe its I just do not understand why someone would want a gadget to monitor their nutritional intake, people should be aware of what they are feeding themselves with and exactly whats in it.......its on all the packaging today, all they have to do is read it or do a bit of research themselves about foods, if they are that concerned about it.
