Pigs fed a diet of only genetically modified grain showed markedly higher stomach inflammation than pigs who dined on conventional feed, according to a new study by a team of Australian scientists and U.S. researchers.

The study adds to an intensifying public debate over the impact of genetically modified crops, which are widely used by U.S. and Latin American farmers and in many other countries around the world.

Poor pigs, now lets see the tests they have done on the humans who are being fed GM foods? .....or maybe they have been told paid to keep that one quiet?

In an ideal World a law would be passed were NO guns were allowed and all those out there destroyed, trouble is the law makers are not going to take a risk of trying to pass that without making sure they are armed first.

Stomach inflammation? You want to know what really hurts pigs?

Yeah, well, I'd post some of the routine horrors that are inflected upon them, with the blessings of government agencies, but I think there's a forum rule about posting gross or disturbing videos.

Humans have been eating genetically modified grains since WWII.  And how many people have food allergies/ or ntolerances?  How many people have been diagnosed as Celiac?  Just a no brainer IMO

What WWII grains are you talking about glorybebe? I ask this because the double helix wasn't figured out till the 50's, and the first manipulation of DNA started in the 70's.

In 1953, scientists discovered the structure of DNA, and in 1972, researchers developed a method for cutting and splicing DNA. That method became known as recombinant DNA, or rDNA, because it enabled scientists to cut and recombine segments of DNA. Since then, researchers have learned how to move genetic material in the form of DNA from one plant or animal to another. They can also take DNA from an animal and place it in a plant, and vice versa.

But flouride in the water started in 1945 and we know the controversy with that over the years, So either way, they are always effing with us human guinea pigs (excuse the pun).

People keep confusing selective breeding and genetic engineering, not the same thing.

Look up 'Special Diets For Special Kids' by Lisa Lewis.  After the Dirty Thirties, governments were experimenting with the foods to increase the yield of grains, as well as hardiness of the plants
