Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Americans at UM! If you're lucky like I am, the rest of the week is free. Mine shall be filled with eating, wine, the museum, and much slacking.

after a 10 hour work day not counting drive time (add another hour and a half for that) I made a hearty meal of homemade Stroganoff and veggies. My youngest got the menu mixed up and had a pot of potatoes peeled and cut waiting on the stove.Since we are going to the parents for dinner tomorrow I did not want them sitting until Friday so i cooked them up for Mashed potatoes. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Now to hold that baby

My wife has a back inflammation and is confined to bed rest so it's up to me to cook the Thanksgiving feast... I can handle the sides but never attempted stuffing or gravy... Heaven help us...

A scrip on my back, and a staff in my hand, I march on in haste through an enemy's land. The road may be rough, but it cannot be long; And I'll smooth it with hope, and I'll cheer it with song.

I am very thankful for my family on UM.   Although not everyone celebrates Thanksgiving I wanted to pause and let you all know just how important you are to me.

A thread recently reminded me of an experience I had..
Really creepy, sublime, beautiful, surreal alien, ghost, BEK, hybrid, death dealer priestess floats past me in a wave of worshippers. Everyone sees and notices her under bright lights..
And then their make-up person asked me where the closest privy was. Maybe it was the griffon on my shoulder that tipped them off?

There are very few artists lucky enough to have had Freddie Mercury as a guest vocalist or backing vocalist, and they've most likely lived comfortably off the royalties ever since!

This was recorded at around the same time as Bohemian Rhapsody:

It would sit quite happily on Queen's "A Night At The Opera".
