As a kid, I used to ask my elders a lot of questions about history, particularly the war-times they lived through.
They would say "Didn't you learn this at school?", and the answer was "No!"

Our history syllabus was Britain from 1700 to 1850. Not a word about WW1, Churchill, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Cuba, JFK, or even decimalization!

We'd been at the museum for a while and my son (11) comes over and asks me...

"so Dad... if Adam and Eve were made by God and not born like regular people... why do they always have belly buttons in their pictures?  How would they get those?"

      Well played son... well played.
