      I know some here don't like the fact that I did in a rattler but now it looks like that's the tip of the ice berg. I have snake skins on my property and my neighbor also has them on his... I hope the frost comes soon or if not there will be more blood letting... To be humane I will try to relocate them if they are not to nasty...

      Am home today, on a lazy Sunday, and actually find myself watching the History Channel. It has become practically unwatchable since Disney bought it out and changed the format o dimwitted flop, but there was a cheesy special called "Atlantis Found" and right now there's a cheesy special about the Apocalypse. At least those are vaguely history related.

      Good evening. May I ask you to spare a moment to complete the following survey:

      [1] Are you human? Yes/No

      [2] If [No], how would you describe yourself?

      (a) an extraterrestrial;

      (b) a Droid;

      (c) a Spirit Manifestation;

      (d) Some other form of supernatural creature, e.g. for example a lycanthrope.

      Thank you.

      NightScreams

      In AD 869, observed ast St. Edmund's day, Vikings beheaded King Edmund after surviving an onslaught of arrows. They played football with his head until the grew bored and tossed it away into a thicket of thorns and brier. Later his followers recovered his body but couldn't find the head. as they searched, calling out “Where are you friend?” they heard the king’s voice calling back “Here, here, here.” They followed the source of the sound to where they found the king’s head, protected from scavengers and carrion by a giant grey wolf that cradled it between its paws. The wolf immediately yielded up the head, then followed Edmund’s men as they took the body back to a nearby village. Once it was certain the king had received a proper burial, the wolf returned to the forest and was never reported again.

      In 1890, in a crypt of a Church, lay the bones identified as belonging to the wolf guarding Edmund's head, the last member of the Saxon royal dynasty.
