I just came home from a late night drive with a friend. We decided to go down some country roads near here and an animal jumped out of the ditch in front of my car.. The thing is that it looked like a dog but was at least a meter tall, pitch black fur, and black eyes. It was angry too. We had the windows rolled down at the time since my friend was smoking a cigarette and we could hear it growling and snapping at the car. It looked like it wanted blood. I ended up driving like a bat out of hell until I ended up in a town, any town. Then we stopped and discussed it. What was that thing?

I have a new nephew named Logan. A family member with the same name as Wolverine!

Not one to be outdone by my wee brother, if I ever have a kid I'm naming him Kal El.

Looking out the kitchen window into the forest... Everyday more leaves fall and soon  we will be able to see to the top of the mountain... Living on the edge of nature is awesome at times but very intimidating also...
