First snow of the winter here.  Lasted about 15 minutes.  1/2 the office called in sick.  Wimps.

Saw emergency dentist today regarding my wisdom tooth, it needs to come out, They won't do it and the nearest dentist accepting patients is according to them in Birmingham which is not exactly on the doorstep, They gave me antibiotics and told me to p*** off basically. Nice to know you can still be cared for in good old England.

My son got to go spend some time with one of his cousins on Saturday, which we thought would never happen as my ex sister-in-law (my nephew's mom ) hates my guts and doesn't talk to me.   I wasn't going to say anything but just drop him off but thought I should be the adult and thank her for letting him come over.   To my surprise she was congenial and chatted with me for a bit.   She has several mental issues and wasn't taking her meds so it made me concerned.   Guess I'll just call this a Christmas miracle!!

I was finally able to pat Birdie (Indian Ringneck) twice, only for a second or two but still I got to touch him. It's little bit of a big deal because when dad got him we were told he needs work and is not a fan of females. I ofcourse like to prove people wrong on somethings. I've done animal care courses and have had them my whole life so we know what we're doing
