Anyone else hate it when reviewers tell you that a film has a twist? The whole point of a twist is that you don't know it's coming, but if you know a film has a twist then, not only is the surprise ruined, you end up spending the whole film trying to figure out what it could be.

It's the worst kind of spoiler because very few seem to realise that it is indeed a massive spoiler.

If I were a swan, I'd be gone. If I were a train, I'd be late. And if I were a good man, I'd talk with you more often than I do.

If I were to sleep, I could dream. If I were afraid, I could hide. And if I go insane, please don't put your wires in my brain...

Hello again. My word of the day today then is Danegelda tax raised to pay tribute to the Viking raiders to save a land from being ravaged.  Or extortion paid to foreigners in the hope they'll leave you alone. A concept that's been revived recently, now known as the "EU Divorce bill".

Today's Quote: “Heaven help us if we ever have a President who doesn’t know as much about the military as I do.”

      ~ Donald J. Trump.

Beg your pardon, it was Dwight D. Eisenhower.
