This year is the year in which we should all avoid discussing politics at all costs at the dinner table.

      Have a happy Thanksgiving. ^_^

Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Americans at UM! If you're lucky like I am, the rest of the week is free. Mine shall be filled with eating, wine, the museum, and much slacking.

after a 10 hour work day not counting drive time (add another hour and a half for that) I made a hearty meal of homemade Stroganoff and veggies. My youngest got the menu mixed up and had a pot of potatoes peeled and cut waiting on the stove.Since we are going to the parents for dinner tomorrow I did not want them sitting until Friday so i cooked them up for Mashed potatoes. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Now to hold that baby

My wife has a back inflammation and is confined to bed rest so it's up to me to cook the Thanksgiving feast... I can handle the sides but never attempted stuffing or gravy... Heaven help us...

A scrip on my back, and a staff in my hand, I march on in haste through an enemy's land. The road may be rough, but it cannot be long; And I'll smooth it with hope, and I'll cheer it with song.

I am very thankful for my family on UM.   Although not everyone celebrates Thanksgiving I wanted to pause and let you all know just how important you are to me.
