Bailey and mom are now home, a full day early. He is eating great and is doing wonderful. Mom and dad are both super tired but have been troopers. Dad is super protective of his little man and had to just about be forced to put him down for 15 minutes to eat dinner.

Sometimes the armor you wear to protect yourself become too heavy, you let it fall off and everything that was holding you together breaks.

Promise that you will love those who are with you in this life. Promise me that you'll hold their memories tightly. Because one day they won't be there and all you'll have are those precious memories to remind you of how good life can be.

And sometimes when I am weary, when the path is thorny and wild; I'll look back to the eyes in the twilight, back to the eyes that smiled.  And pray that a wreath like a rainbow, may slip from the beautiful past; And crown me again with the sweet strong love, and keep me and hold me fast.

Making out my Thanksgiving food list.   We are going to take food to both my mom in law's house on Thanksgiving and then food to my mom's house the next day.    Despite trying to pare things down, I end up cooking a bunch of stuff each year.
