As I look towards this week, I pray my sanity I do keep. For if some peace I do not find, I'm pretty sure I'll lose my mind.  :P

      Look on the bright side.....

The looming World War 3 has resurrected some excellent 80's-style nuclear apocalypse songs.

      Duck and cover, everyone!

I've got ants marching into the break in the seal of my empty freezer and dying in large amounts. And they keep coming and coming and coming, all marching to their inevitable death.

Well, you'll be glad to know that following my very successful lunch with Jean-Claude Juncker yesterday (we went out for a Sausage in a Bun with lots of mustard, and those chips or Frites they do in Belgium*), we've agreed that perhaps we really ought to think about accelerating the process of talking about Brexit negotiations. We'll let you know how we get on.

It pays to have a tall son.  I was trying to find a scrubber sponge on top of one of my cabinets in the bathroom.  I couldn't find it by feeling around so I asked my son to look and see if it was still there.  It was there, at the very back.  He retrieved it for me and laughed at me for being short.  LOL
