was surprised tonight with a special treat.... i am diabetic and treat myself to a diet soda every now and again.... my absolute favorites are root beer and cream soda... A&W makes a decent diet root beer.. but i have yet to find a diet cream soda anywhere in the stores... my family surprised me with a 12 pack of  A&W cream soda that they got from Amazon...after a long hard day it hit the spot

Had a great day at the museum today. It was almost as though all of the best families and kids within 500 miles were all there in my gallery. One little boy gave me a hug. That was so nice! Why don't you people hug me?

its been 22 days...and surprisingly mama hen was sitting on 16 eggs...sadly though 10 were unfertilized.. but i do have 6 new chicken peepas as we call them.. mama hen is hunkered down in some tall weeds with the peepa poking their little heads out from her feathers... i shall try to get a few pictures tomorrow

today was super busy... we got the basement painted and the wall framed in. what a difference the paint made.. like night and day. tomorrow we will be  putting drywall up and running electrical. hopefully in two weeks, phase one of the basement project will be done. after that phase two will start which consists of putting in a bathroom
