My utopia would be a world made of entire chocolate, so that we may feast until we puke, also giant labdrdors will walk the earth which we shall enslave and use for transport. Mullets, and beards will be banned.

Great idea, and a sweet one.

Although if this utopian world existed, i'm sure dentists would become billionares, seeing as how people would quickly have cavities.  But who knows maybe in this utopia of yours, cavities will already be cured.  tongue.gif  laugh.gif

Hmm, chocolate...  **insert drooling smilie here**

There is no true utopia other than what we can imagine in our minds.  A true utopia can never be realized because there will always be those with different beliefs than ourselves, and religion will always be a major factor in disputes.

I think it is possible to acheive utopia, but humanity would have to acheive a higher form of consciousness than we currently have. My utopia would be one in harmony in nature, almost identical to the Native Americans of the eastern Woodlands.

The point is to discover that core of uniqueness that is in each of us, that is beyond all social roles and to make that the point from which we act, live, and think in the world.

WE are lost with nowhere to go to be found

now this is too much, youre thinking my thoughts after me now, mr strichar  grin2.gif . it would require a higher level of conciousness, but we arent getting any closer to it. rather, were getting farther away. were getting complacent. we refuse to learn, instead we form an opinion on no solid facts, just rumor and our own convictions. we complain about things constantly yet refuse to work to change them. we feel we are the center of the world and often ignore others. a utopia is impossible among sinful beings.

No matter what level of "consciousness" we're at we will still be subject to our instincts and hormones, thus we will always be prone to violence and intolerance.

Well, I think differently.  There are those who actually are reaching towards a higher form of conciousness.  Take for example the Tibetan Monks who use levitation as a way of reaching this state.

Shirini, your policies are really good.

If you by any chance get to read the book A Brave New World, you'll see how close the people in the novel reach a form of Utopia.

*I AM A STONER, DONT BASH MY THOUGHTS*

People can fly, no planes, trains, or automoblies.

People posess any knowledge wanted.

Money is not necessary. We take what we need.

No age limits on drinking, smoking. But limits on driving and ability to use guns(basically life threatening "things.")

No work.

No school(If everyone didnt go, there is no need for it)

Peace from murders, society but not from war.

No church/ religious beliefs -> people have freed minds and thoughts.

A partial goverment involvment in our lives.

Teleportation/ Time travel allowance

No Joc

Computers and Television and Electricity and Heat...etc.

Constant music.

Intergalactic space traveling to the far depths of space.

Less humans

...THERE ARE SO MANY MORE...
