Frank's box

I've just been watching Paranormal State, and they produced this thing called "Frank's box" It's the first time I've heard of it. I just wondered if anyone else had heard of it, and even better, if anyone has ever used one, and the results.
Here are some links...
Video of a Frank's Box demonstration.
Discussion about Frank's Box.
It all seems a little too good to be true to me...

`At any rate I'll never go THERE again!' said Alice as she picked her way through the wood. `It's the stupidest tea-party I ever was at in all my life!'

I don't know where I found this last year when I first heard about "Frank's Box" but take it for what it's worth; Personally, I have a very hard time with the box, they make it harder than it really is to communicate.

"In order for an audio recording device to pick up stray RF transmission, it has to demodulate them from the carrier, which requires an antenna, and a simple detector, such as a diode. Then it is posible to detect and unmodulate audio from an RF carrier. My point, And I am in dissagreement with the AA-EVP on this, Why inject a foriegn noise to your medium, when that allows a scientist more fuel to debunk your findings? An EVP in its pure form recorded directly to your medium via a midrophonew is the hardest evidence to debunk of an EVP. Detuned radio receivers can pick up stray background stations and thus faint vopices can be heard. As a researcher, how do you eliminate these as evidence, or non-evidence? "

I also watched the show last night, not that I normally watch it(smells too phony), but channel surfing, I stopped and watched a bit and they were using this so called 'Frank's Box' and I agree, that it's too good to be true. I'm very skeptical concerning this box, and it really sounded like someone was transmitting the answers to this box. If perhaps a professional in the field of frequency transmissions could explain to me how it works, and if the concept is truely possible, I may consider, possibly believing in such a box.....maybe... a small amount........ok...10%...

I saw the show two.
I'll say this: Last year at a paranormal retreat we were present at a demo of the Frank's Box. Chip was there too operating it. People at random were chosen to ask questions of the box (some got very upset at the answers).
I found it interesting that people who asked yes/no type questions always seemed to get answers. People who asked when/why/where/how questions got vague answers or no answers at all.
As for the box itself, we weren't allowed to examine it or have any of our equiment around during the demo so we couldn't make measurements or readings. You definately heard voices but as they said during the demo (and on PRS) the device scans radio frequencies so voices are to be expected.
The whole thing left me very unsatisified and far from convinced.

I haven't watched any tv for like 3-4 weeks now. I have no idea what this "box" is... I haven't been able to watch ANY paranormal-type shows
I watched the video provided. I coud tell when the voice changed from male to female. I did hear the word "intruders" a number of "yes" 's and "got to find it" very clearly. I also heard "Amy". Not sure how much weight I put into this though. Could someone outside or hidden have an audio device/ or like walky-talky / to create this staticy conversation? Hmmm. Just not sure about this one.
Edited to add stuff from listening.
