The third season of our UM chess tournament has now drawn to a close, a big thank you to everyone who took part.

Unfortunately due to inactivity and with several pending matches TheBarman has been removed from the running.

Here are the final results:

Congratulations to Talon once again who is our undefeated tournament champion for the third time in a row. thumbsup.gif

For those who didn't get a chance to participate this time around or who'd like another bash at the top spot then in all likelihood we will be hosting another chess tournament in the future so keep your eyes open for that, a season four board will be added nearer the time.

Congrats Talon and everyone else who lasted until the end.

I am looking forward to the next season and I hope that no exrtaneous circumstances pull me away this time.

I'm sure someone here will beat him eventually, we have some very good chess players on here.

There will almost certainly be another season this year so we'll have to wait and see what happens. thumbsup.gif
