And of course he won't step down or resign. And for sure he would even get reelected for he spoon feed his district with taxpayers money that he tries to avoid paying his share of it.
Why do you think they aren't afraid to do such?

Spoon feed his district with taxpayers' money, y'say?  Well then, sounds like he's qualified for a run at VP!  Just ask Sarah Palin how she got her "most popular governor" status up in Alaska!  You guessed it, with our money!   w00t.gif

And there are those who would argue for such behavior, and throw in Palin for a double purpose.
Defend a crook and destroy a political opponent at the same time.

You mean the closet anarchists in the GOP?  Let's dismantle government by sending unprincipled, incompetent kleptocrats to Washington?  You gotta admit, they're doing a heck of a job, Brownie!  thumbsup.gif

What a funny phrase. Do we know of anyone else like that? We do!

Alaska takes in about $14,000 in federal dollars per capita every year (making it number one!). It doesn't levy income taxes on its citizens but, no worries, the rest of the country picks up its tab for it:

Simply put, Alaska has made a habit of transferring its operating costs to the federal government. The state pulls out nearly two times as much money as it pitches in to the Treasury, a drain that looks especially bad in light of the state's fiscal reality. Today, Alaska enjoys a healthy budget surplus, and it sits on a Permanent Fund of more than $39 billion. It also refuses to levy sales or income taxes on its citizens. In a state that fails to pull its weight, the Bridge to Nowhere is just an especially weighty example.

And now the Queen of the Welfare State is on a national ticket. I wonder what other goodies for that state ("Alaska first!") she would try to pry out of our pocketbooks were she to become VP.

I wonder the population of Alaska - if it is big, small, et cetera...

Then I wonder how many Federal programs that each state are entitled to receive are counted in the article above. I would guess they are, which, in my view, is a distortion of the facts.
