Stumbled on these articles while researching topics on one of my major subjects. Experiments show that DNA can be affected by heart frequencies called "subtle energies". They were also able to observe phenomenon called "DNA Phantom effect" where photons align to unseen patterns after DNA samples were taken away. Thoughts of Love or the Intention of Healing projected to a subject can affect the renaturation and denaturation of DNA, where effects on both can affect DNA repair and replication on an individual. It shows that Heart frequencies such as Love and Light energy of electromagnetic radiation are the keys in affecting the primary and secondary structures of DNA.

I also read an interesting book about Thoth Hermes Trismegistus where a Dragon said that Eternal Life can be achieved by knowing Light and Love.

Perhaps you could point out the "love energy" on this for me? Or define "heart frequency" if you mean something besides "pulse"?

Can thoughts and intentions affect the physical world? The science tries to prove it. I read 2 articles about that and will try to summarize their content.

The first article is “Modulation of DNA conformation by heart-focused intention” or “Local and non-local effects of coherent heart frequencies on conformational changes of DNA” from the HeartMath Institute. They have experimented how people can alter the DNA molecule external from the body through intention. When the people were in a heart-focused and a loving state, their heart rate variability (or heart rhythms) was more coherent and they could unwind the DNA. The people who were not in a deep state of love, couldn’t change the DNA. There was one person who was upset and frustrated who changed the DNA, but winding it.

1. When the researchers FELT gratitude, love and appreciation, the DNA responded by RELAXING and the strands unwound. The length of the DNA became longer.

2. When the researchers FELT anger, fear, frustration, or stress, the DNA responded by TIGHTENING UP. It became shorter and SWITCHED OFF many of our DNA codes! If you have ever felt “shut down” by negative emotions, now you know why your body shut down too. The shut down of the DNA codes was reversed and the codes were switched back on again when feelings of love, joy, gratitude and appreciation were felt by the researchers.
Another interesting thing is that one of the individuals, Doc Childre, who had shown consistent ability to generate extended periods of heart coherence, was given the task to affect three different DNA samples simultaneously by unwinding two of them and leaving the third one unchanged. And indeed he has done that by sending simultaneously specific intentions to the DNA samples. He could also affect DNA sample from distance 0,5 miles away.

“Effect of conscious intention on human DNA” is the other article by Glein Rein in 1966. He describes an experiment with tumor cells. The healer Leonard Laskow could cause an 39% inhibition of the tumor cell growth by intentions of natural order and harmony of the cell’s normal rate of growth (before they became tumor cells) and 18% inhibition by visualizing only three cells remaining. And when he visualized many cells, the result was 15% increased growth of the tumor cells.

Conscious Intent functions in all entities, regardless of where they exist in the spectrum of life, if the primary level of everything is consciousness. Entities only differ in their scope of awareness, the extent to which any being or particle is aware of the whole. Tools for Actualization of this principle are part of everyone's repertory of inner senses and powers. We create images in our "mind's eye." We receive images telepathically. We "see" distant situations. We affect objects at a distance. We communicate with other conscious beings. We send and receive images and feelings between species. We focus subtle energies on ourselves and others. We read the subtle fields of others.

These functions already operate. Not yet being aware of them doesn't mean we don't have them. It's a matter of becoming conscious practitioners of mind over matter and emotions, instead of passive subjects.

It was not until December 1948 that Sri Aurobindo dictated, at the explicit request of The Mother, a series of eight articles for the Bulletin of Physical Education, later published under the title The Supramental Manifestation upon Earth. The series was probably left unfinished when Sri Aurobindo left his body on 5 December 1950. The articles are often seen as a sequel to Sri Aurobindo’s philosophical magnum opus, The Life Divine.

These articles are of great importance. Already in The Life Divine Sri Aurobindo had indicated that the transformation of man to superman could take place through a transitional being, or through several kinds of transitional beings. In these later articles Sri Aurobindo indicates how a new humanity, which would be that transitional being, can come into existence. The new humanity would be “a race of mental beings on the earth and in the earthly body, but delivered from its present conditions in the reign of the cosmic Ignorance so far as to be possessed of a perfected mind, a mind of light ….” (CWSA 13, p. 578).

The “Mind of Light” is a new term coined by Sri Aurobindo in these series of articles. Sri Aurobindo defined it as a subordinate action of Supermind, one could say the lowest level of Supermind. Sri Aurobindo and the Mother had been supramentalised many years ago in the mental and vital parts of their earthly personality. From then onwards their whole effort consisted in bringing a supramental degree of consciousness down in Matter by bringing the supramental consciousness into the cells of their bodies, as through them there is a direct influence upon Matter.

To grasp the magnitude of what Sri Aurobindo and the Mother accomplished, one must first understand that for a true ‘Life Divine’ upon earth to become realised in its completeness, not only our thoughts and emotions have to be gradually replaced by their divine equivalent, but our body too must undergo the same kind of transformation.

Only the Power (that is, the Consciousness), which is beyond the Mind, can effect such a transformation of a first body, in the way it must be effected, if it is to have the needed influence on other bodies. The transformative action must be effected by awakening the usually obscure consciousnesses of individual body cells.

Only the ‘supramental’ consciousness-force, as Sri Aurobindo and the Mother called it, is able to do that in the required way, by awakening in matter, including in the biological matter of our body cells, the same supramental power which as a ‘seed’ has been lying dormant since the beginning of evolution.

In previous stages of evolution, it had been first the ‘seed’ of the life power, and then that of the mind power, which had awakened one after the other in their respective ‘season’.

Quantum Consciousness and the "Mind" of the Cells - a discussion

The quantum realm is the space of magic in modern physics. At the infinitesimal Planck scale, virtual particles flash in and out of existence with no apparent cause, yet are apparently the first cause of the subatomic particles which eventually concatenate up to all of material reality.


But something strange and wondrous has begun to appear in new investigations of neural cells. By the mid-90's, using a new generation of magnifying devices like tunneling electron microscopes, the cytoskeletal "rods" were being revealed to be hollow tubes, interconnected in a myriad of junctions within each cell. Within some human neural cellular structures, the complexity of these "microtubules" appeared to rival that of the entire human brain! And the tubulin proteins which form the skin of these microtubules are at the nanometer scale; Sir Eccles quantum box had been found.

The very latest experiments on advanced Tibetan Buddhist meditators (by a team including one of my former Ph.D. thesis advisors), are revealing high frequency coherent "gamma wave" EEG fluctuations in the range of 30 to 90 cycles per second (several times faster than the well-known "alpha" waves of novice meditators of approximately 10 cycles/sec.). There are now indications that in the brains of these Buddhist adepts, thousands of neurons at widely spaced locations are firing in coherent synchronization too perfectly timed to be controlled by normal relatively slow neural processes. Some researchers are now suggesting that these coherent oscillations can only be coordinated by strange "non-local" quantum effects. And the most recent results indicate that in the most advanced meditative states, hundreds of thousands of normally separate neurons appear to act as if they were one giant "hyper-neuron," interlinked by microtubules which leap through quantum-mediated "gap junctions."

So what's the meaning of all this and how does it possibly relate to Auroville? There's the obvious possibility that these experiments are revealing the physical basis of the Mother's work reported in Satprem's book "Mind of the Cells," and therefore have an intimate relationship to both the integral yoga and a possible new stage of evolution. Some world-class physicists, including Roger Penrose, the Oxford University polymath working on Unified Field Theory, are noting the possible relevance of quantum consciousness to the reports of Yogis of many traditions about their experience of an objectively real stratum of reality, of Satchitananda, or supramental Truth, Consciousness and Divine Bliss. Roger Penrose is now hypothesizing that many, perhaps all, creative leaps in human culture are the result of these quantum hyperneuronal states.

If DNA is indeed a text, a keyboard, a musical score; if it is true that this score can be rewritten so that it plays a new type of music; and if we live not just in a holographic but in a harmonic universe, then it seems plausible that our bioenergy fields are at least in part composed of higher-dimensional sound.

Given that the only places I can find references to Dr Glen Rein or Dr Vladimir Poponin are "mystic cosmos" style websites, I'm not going to give this any credence. Having the word "doctor" before your name means nothing. I have friends with PhDs - I would trust them to change a lightbulb. They're easily the most deranged people I've ever met.

This is starting to be a reoccuring thing on this forum, where people who usually post unfounded new age nonsense (and I'm not saying this is you mnemeion, I'm talking in generalities) have started posting the same new age fluff but making sure that its from a website where the claims are backed up by "doctors", as if this makes them as valid as, say, a website about evolution backed up by Dawkins.

If Conscious Intention of Healing and Love really does not, in any way, exist and does not affect others, why
do relatives and friends visit patients who are diseased, sick, or in a coma, knowing that they can do nothing medically
but to just make them "Feel Better"?

If we know our beloved one is dying in a hospital bed, why do we demand to stay at their side unto the end?
Deep inside we know that just by being there, we are somehow helping them recover. And the truth is, we really are.

Personally I've not looked into the things in this specific thread yet, though the material presented so far seem interesting if this research have been done and got the evidence backing it up.

Will be glad to hear more about it, and look further into it myself.

Well, those are the observations. What I am curious is the connection to the numerous conspiracies lurking in this forum that is somehow connected to the response of DNA to certain mind states of individuals.

And now there is a connection on the physical effects such as body pains to the psychological states of individuals, through the improper function of DNA in replication, repair and others via transduction.
