If anyone saw the X-Files episode ''Firewalker'', can you please tell me if there is any type of fungus or plant that grows through it's host's throat, just like in the episode.

No. There are some molds that will grow in your lungs and slowly suffocate you, but no fungus' that I know of.

theres nothing like in the episode, this mainly being because the X files is not a credible source for information
the closest you will find in the really real world is Candida,

I think there are some funguses that grow like that from insects, but nothing that I know of in a vertibrate animal.
