We currently have a pair of brand new Intel Quad Core servers on order to help resolve a lot of the performance issues we're currently experiencing, in particular with our database server. The new servers will address the periods of high load, slowness and lag that we've been seeing.

The servers should be going up this coming week and we'll be making the switch soon afterwards.

I'll post a further notice prior to the switch to let everyone know when this will be happening.

Not that things are horrible now, but congrats. Can't wait to see the improved performance. thumbsup.gif

speaking of computer stuff, you should show Saru the monitor you found on New Egg.  laugh.gif   Im still laughing at that, my IT guy got huge kick out of that too.

Just curious: What OS do the forums run on? My Server Spy f, said:

Just curious: What OS do the forums run on? My Server Spy firefox addon tells me it uses the Apache webserver, but it doesn't list the OS.

We use the Linux operating system on all our servers.
