Three have been at the top of my list for a few years now.

Favorite lyricist and melody maker is Danzig!!!

Favorite riffmakers, soloists (yes James has done a few solos himself), and hellraisers, Metallica!!

Favorite band musically overall with great insightful lyrics, Dark Tranquillity!!

We are all carnal creatures by design. Some of us spiritually embrace this while others religiously deny it.

At the moment it's Cream, you can't go wrong with them, Ginger Baker's one of the greatest drummers of all time, Jack Bruce is one of the greatest singers and bass players of all time and Eric Clapton (it goes without saying what he's great at!).

I agree with what some guy said about The Beatles, only Rubber Soul onwards. Well, Help is a decent album and there are a few tracks on A Hard Days Night but predominantly it's post-Help stuff I like.

I don't have a favorite band right now. There's too many bands I like. X3 But it's probably Within Temptation. I love their music. <333

Ah, I love Within Temptation. And all those Metal bands who incorporate an orchestra into their music like, Nightwish, Epica, Tristania etc..

A few of my other favorite bands include-

Opeth
Moonspell
Lacuna coil
Deathstars
The Sisters of Mercy

And many more. Sorry I couldn't think of only one.

I would have to say Pink Floyd.

{My class song (81) was AC-DC's Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. I was shocked and thrilled. I didn't know my class had it in them. Finishing 2nd was Pink Floyd's The Wall part 2 followed by Pink Floyd's Us and Them.}

I listen to a lot of different music. I like Christmas music, I like Classical music. I like John Denver, I like Metallica.

If I had to make a choice and only listen to music from one band or artist, FLOYD!

Who's your favourite band? Don't usually post topics like this but... I felt like it.

Mine's either Belle & Sebastian... or Smashing Pumpkins.

I think.

one out of two ain't bad.

The Beatles, but only from Rubber soul on. I can't listen to she loves you etc. the Smiths were great too, but the variety of singing and instruments win it for the Beatles and they were cool too whereas Mozzer is a bit of a looser!

Couldn't agree wiht you more grin2.gif A couple of years ago for my birthday, my sister got me a box set of all the Black Sabbath albums (well, the ones with Ozzy. Never really got into anything after that). Of Black Sabbaths albums, my favourite is a toss between Paranoid and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
