Just a question, do we have a time-frame in which you want the first round to be completed?  Two of the people in my Group have not made a move for over a week - one of them is less than six hours away from me being able to claim a Timeout win.  Neither member has even been on UM since their last move, so maybe they don't have internet wherever they are (???).  I've sent PM's a few days ago, but since they haven't been online, they haven't received them yet.

I don't like claiming Timeout victories, but in order to keep the tournament moving at an acceptable pace, it might be fairer to everyone else instead of making them wait for me.

Any thoughts on this one, Saru? thumbsup.gif

At this stage we want to try and determine the winners of the first round as soon as we can so we can get round two underway, as such I think it would be prudent to take any timeouts to help keep things moving along.

If a player hasn't moved for ages, is timing out in their games and isn't responding to PMs then they will probably end up being disqualified anyway, one of the conditions for joining the tournament was that players need to be able to devote some time to making their moves.

As his games have all ended via timeout without a single complete match, Burnttoast has now been removed from the proceedings.
