No nor does very limited evidence when plants outside of the Americas also contain these drugs.

What plant besides the tobacco plant in Egypt has tobacco leaves?

What plant in Egypt did ancient Egyptians synthesize cocaine from?

I don't know why I'm even asking since you don't present any evidence to support your religious views.

You have to be trolling.  You were just shown many posts on the last 3-4 pages that describe in detail where such substances come from, how they could have got there, and what they were formed from.

You're just simply re-asking answered questions at this point in an attempt to be inflammatory.

NICOTINE NOT TOBACCO and Nicotine is found in numerous Eurasian plants.

Coca leaves are not synthesised.

Maybe if you bothered to read the link I posted.

And this is not religion.

Even if it was nicotine, all nightshade plants (Solanaceae) contain nicotine, that includes atropa belladona (easily obtainable for the Egyptians) among 500 other species that grow in Europe and Asia.

What evidence do you have that ancient Egyptians were sufficiently advanced in chemstry and bioengineering to clone tobacco leaves from nightshade plants?

No census of the natives was taken.  This is a racist myth.

And those mummies, there are other sources of nicotine and cocaine then tobacco and coca, that were widely available outside the Americas.

We're talking about the 19th dynasty and you have no evidence to support your claim.

Not to mention the fact that in the 19th century, most insecticides were made from tobacco.

Irrelevant to the topic.

You don't have to clone anything... is your last name Sitchin by any chance?

The following plant have similar leafs:

Family Solanaceae (nightshade family; includes Nolanaceae as well as potatoes, eggplants, tomatoes, peppers, tobacco, and petunias.)

It could have been leafs from any of those plants, even if a full leaf would have been found.

The leaves could be the result of contamination from museum workers, but since they have never been analysed it is simply inconclusive.

No it's not.  I'm assuming you're related to him?  You both make similar arguments about advanced Egyptian chemistry and bioengineering.

So according to you, if I eat a potato leaf, I'll test positive for cocaine and tobacco?

You could test positive for any number of alkaloids, yes.

Riiiight, and the universe could be an illusion of tortoises all the way down....rolleyes.gif

What evidence do you have to support your crackpot hypothesis that there is an international conspiracy of museum workers bent on contaminating every Egyptian mummy on Earth with tobacco and cocaine?

Do you ever bother to read any of the posts or is that too complex?
Is context just that little bit complex.
The leaves were in a museum were people smoked! So why is your brain unable to comprehend some basic probability.

Nicotine and cocaine are found in Eurasian planets.

Your posts seem to be denial after denial of historical and scientific evidence from peer-reviewed academic journals and sources.

No just the rubbish you post and the glaring inaccuracy (hey, your the one who called Darwin and Newton mythology when both theory are based on observable facts). And you ignore cause and effect and deliberately misinterpret posts.
