So the question is, is still alive? or a bigger cloverfield comes along?
Well i have been doing some homework over the past week and at last have found some...evidence of a sequel or prequel.
I found this of www.filmofilia.com which is like a movie website. Anyway there's some intresting pictures and a document, which looks to be before the monster attacks New York City.
Here is one of th photos but i think it's the parasites feeding on the ocean floor.picture 1
It shows a mini sub looking at some parasites.
The next photo appears to be a mini cloverfield which appears to be attacking some sort of underwater steel platform.
picture 2
This is the start of my findings and later i will show you another picture but of what a dead whale that cloverfield has being eating.

He was talking about how they could possibly do a movie where another group of people had a camera rolling too. The idea was that in today's tech filled world, there's going to be a lot of people that you can see have stories.
<SPOILER (yeah, I hate spoiling things>
I've also heard speculation that the 2 at the end of the first didn't die in the end and might continue their story somehow.
I'm all for a Cloverfield 2 as long as it isn't as boring as Star Trek is (hate me all you want, it felt like a long boring episode of LOST! haha)

Star Trek felt like Lost? Not to derail the topic, but what exactly did you find to be similar? I'm an avid Lost fan, and I saw Star Trek, and I don't see any similarities.

I'm sure it was the filming style, that seems to be what most people have a problem with.
I went into the cinema expecting a piece of ****, and left feeling like I had been thoroughly entertained for an hour and a half. Shotgun sequel
