Family Guy isn't different at all! They stole their entire idea from the Simpsons, and are half-assed about it anyways! They suck at referencing, they suck at art, they suck at humor. They just suck. Simpsons will always be better than FG, ALLLLLWAYS.



And by the way, Lisa isn't ugly and nor does her family hate her, mmkay.

I like the Simpsons better. It's not as foul or... offensive? as Family Guy. I don't feel bad about watching the Simpsons with my family, but I wouldn't sit in the same room with them if Family Guy happened to be on.

Not to mention the immense amount of talent the voice actors of the Simpsons are capable of. It blows my mind.

I totally agree. Simpsons has become PC and totally unfunny. I've noticed recently that it is constantly making Family Guy-esque jokes, clearly trying to appeal to a different market and alienating its core fans.

Which is why I love Family Guy. If you let your family snuggle up and watch a wholesome episode of Family Guy, you're an idiot! The complete REASON it is so good is because it had no taste whatsoever. Killing hookers, singing about aids and underage rape are subjects so serious that Simpsons never attempts them. Family Guy on the other hand knows that it's audience has no taste and it delivers! It is clever (Yes I called Family Guy clever) and, at least nowadays, has much better writing than any Simpsons episode.

You may have your opinion that Simpsons is wayyyyyy better than Familey Guy, but ratings may show you that TV viewers have a different opinion...Turner struck a deal with Fox (to air on TBS and Adult Swim) to use Family Guy and not the Simpsons. Hell, even Futurama has had a second coming on other networks. Simpsons just sem to be dying on their feet after 19 years...And by the way...haklf assed? What exactly is half assed?

Half assed means poorly done. In this context I believe Infrared Cow means that Family Guy's similarities to Simpsons are thinly veiled. She is, IMO, quite right. It just so happens that so are you. Simpsons is falling to peices. I havn't seen a single funny episode for ages. You simply cannot drag on the same characters for 19 years and continue to be original.

I can't wait for season six of Futurama! Although the last three movies were no where near as good as Bender Big Score IMO.

Well I have to agree. Homer is fat, peter is fat. Marge has a weird voice, so does lois. They have three kids, and one infant. They have a dog......

And family guy isn't even THAT funny. Their jokes aren't even relevant to the plot.
