I think its a good film, possibly better than the first one, because they don't have to build up, this is such and such a character, and all that, its humor and action from the off.
For the third? I will deffo watch it, it has to have a epic conclusion though.
Fave Quote?
"What Planet am i On?"
"Earth..."
"Earth? Terrible name for a planet... might as well have called it dirt..."

General: Mr. Bay, what's your idea to stop the terrorists?
Bay: We start by making a big CG building, then a meteor chrashes into it, CRAWGHHH!!!
General: Those aren't ideas, those are special effects!!!
Bay: I don't understand the difference.
Transformers 2, CG building gets destroyed by a fireball. *facepalm*. This guy has no shame.
All he knows is special effects and how to make Megan Fox bend over things in hot pants. How this guy survives is beyond me. The biggest crime is that Spielberg, one of the greatest directors and innovators in film history, hires him!!! Again!!!
If Spielberg actually wanted to make a good Transformers film and not just a means to make money, then he'd sack Bay, make the film himself and give us something other than Megan Fox to dribble over.
If you guys like the film though then cool.

Which is exactly why I prefer movies like Night at the Museum. It's an appropriate kid's movie, I think, and certainly in comparison to that review of it. Kids need more movies like NATM.
I won't be seeing Transformers either. :/

What!!! I mean yeesh I didn't mind the first movie, but have they really gone that over the top with the sexual innuendo in this one? It's a disgrace to the series. Whatever happened to good old cartoon Disney movies...*sighs* nope I'm not gonna waste my money on it.

I agree, I personally think childrens movies have really lost their charm and lessons! Why don't kids movies have lessons anymore???

If you aren't going to see explosions and robot......
then don't go.
I loved the movie because it did have a little more sense of humor behind of it and it is more targeted at Teenagers than kids that's five or six, I don't know where ya'll think it's targeted at five or six year olds because the movie is also rate PG-13. I remember when I went to go see it, there was more adults and teenagers in the theaters than little kids. As far as the new GI Joe movie coming out, I'll probably check it out too because of where I watched it as a kid too. There is a lot of fighting going on in the film and a little bit more language in some spots but it's still targeted at Teenagers and young adults rather than little kids. Now Night at the Museum 2 was pretty funny too and enjoyable. It's more of a all around movie but not as good as the first one. The main thing to remember when going to see any film is to watch it your self before taking anyone else with you and to think about the rating of the movie before taking someone else too. But I still respect everyone else's opinions. I too thought that when Sam found JetFire that his sense of humor was pretty funny about Earth. Skids and Wheelie fighting all the time and making jokes was pretty good too.

Why do parents rely on movies made for guys over 25 to teach their kids to do the right thing?

Oh pleaassseee mate, who says it was made for the over 25? You and I both know that kids are the ones spilling in the dollars to see this stuff. That and it practically comes from toys and a kids cartoon series...they have to chuck everything in the gutter don't they?
Also no one ever said parents solely rely on movies to teach there kids lessons, but it was nice when movies once had them.

Agreed. Everything you said.
It was a kid's television series. Period. A Saturday morning cartoon for little boys. Adults are going to see the movie because of Fox, sure, but you absolutely cannot forget the little kids that are going to see it because it makes their favorite cartoon come to life. It's a bad way to start them off. Get them off on movies like this while they're young, and when they're fourteen they'll go straight for movies like Tropic Thunder for a laugh. Fourteen year olds do not need to watch Tropic Thunder, for the same reason six year olds do not need to watch Transformers: Revenge... :/
I miss the days of classical Disney. Brutal stories with a harsh truth and reality, strong lessons and morals, realistic, powerful characters. Sigh. Gone are the days.
