Looks amazing. I do think that an event will occur that year, on that date, but nothing to this degree. I think the Mayans described it as a global turn over, simply the beginning of a new era, a time of peace and renewing. But, I suppose we'll find out when we get there.

I also think a loooot of people are going to panic over it once they see it, because right now I think 2012 isn't as widely spread as some people imagine--at least not the more disastrous theories. I can imagine it causing a lot of problems.

I hate movies like this, but I love them at the same time. I'll definitely go see it. The trailer gave me chills.

I've said it before, and i'll say it again....Hollywood always making a fast buck on religious beliefs............LMAO and it works.that trailer was cool.............sure hope it isn't all hyped up to look cool, and when you see it, its a bummer movie ..with a crappy ending LOL

I personally think the movie is closely resembles "The Day After Tomorrow"..which is also a Roland Emmerich film..the only difference?--The cause. 2012 is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard, and I most likely won't be seeing this movie until 10 years after it comes out and i'm laughing my *** off at 4 am delusional as **** at how embarassed half of the country must be

It's going to be an un-sophisticated action flick using the "sophisticated" back drop of 2012.

That's all of Roland Emmerich's movies...I mean okay, I like Independence Day mostly for nostalgic reasons but let's be honest, all of his movies are generally lowbrow eye candy.
