This entry confirms that Alex is luring people to the Basement/Hospital and doing...something to them. First Tim, then Seth, then Brian. Is Jay or perhaps Sarah next?

I've heard of people on another forum seeing this "slenderman" when out exploring the woods and wilderness.

Apparently you're safe as long as you don't directly look at him in which case he will attack.  He has been seen in the woods at night.  A big skinny shadowy fella with long thin arms and legs.  He has been seen ripping up chunks of the ground and rearranging the terrain.

He doesn't like water and will promptly disappear if it starts raining on him.  Water apparently can hurt him.
