ive had it planned for 6 years. in the first attack i have told the people who will survive with me that they need to go to out town pub "the talbot" there is enough food in there for 12 people to last 9 days. the basement is heavily fortified (perfect for last stands) and the roof links up to several other houses meening we could sweep through the area and clean it within a few days. my scav teams have been chosen and assuming the shops have half stock+ we will be able to survive for approximatly 14 months. there is a portable radio 2 miles north east of my town in an old radio station with a repeat recorder capable of repeating a message for 24 hours before needing to be reset and has a radius of around 100 miles. i have already bought the weapons we need and have hidden a few in my house and a few in the pub. i have planned for everything security breaches, infection, mutiny, pregnancy, drought, raider etc you name it ive planned for it. once we have exausted the supplys in the town we will move to the next town 12 miles away and take over an appartment building there a few hundred feet away from a shoping centre and a weapons shop. once we have everything we need we will set up an outpost in that town and a secure route to the origional town. the origional town will be cleansed and we will use the abandoned cars to make makeshift walls until we are fortified enough to be able to walk the streets safely. with the radio constantly sending out our location to any other survivours i have estimated we should be able to make a secure colony in 2-3 years. this is just a small part of my plan but it would take to long to say it all. you might think im insane for having a serious plan for when this happens but ill be the one laughing when im safe and everyone else is dead. still if others do the same maybe we could link our colonys in some form of trade.
