i just had a shower now

and i can tell you all I AM NOT ILL! :D

but i do feel cleaner :)

Does this apply to sinks and faucets, too? I'm not sure if shower pipes are generally the same as for drinking water, but I don't think water filters help much against bacteria. We might just be s.o.l. and forced to deal with it (or never drink water or wash yourself again, take your pick). If it doesn't kill you it makes you stronger, I guess.

i got it!

someone should invent a complete new way to shower, that isnt really showering or bathing.

that way we can get clean and not become ill :D

Meh.

Its that kind of paranoid, spray everything with bleach always wash your hands three dozen times a day, dont play in the mud, never wear anything twice, chain the children to the television for fear of certain abduction if they leave the house police state type thinking that causes health problems in the first place.

If people were less paranoid about living in a completely sterile environment than we would have better imunne systems, catch fewer bugs, have less mutant strains of super bugs and live much more happy, fun, contented lives.

Good Grief! Just take the shower head and immerse it white vinegar for a few minutes...problem over. You can clean your dishwasher and coffee maker by running them with vinegar water solution as well. Just be sure to completely rinse anything cleaned in this manner.

Bacteria are everywhere, the trick is to keep your exposure low. Never showering is not a good option as bacteria will then build up on your skin.

well, if you want to get technical..your skin IS the largest organ on your body..it absorbs EVERYTHING. i wouldnt be too worried about the bacteria and whatnot hanging out on the shower head..but rather the crap your city/gov'ment is putting into the water (like fluoride).

Fluoride is just plain scary.

I always say being clean makes you sick just cause your body wont build an immune system because nothing attacks it!
