Name the five most? If nothing scares you well at least you could say the top five you would expect to scare other adults the most?

One thing is childhood movies should not count. For example candyman scared the hell out of me as a kid but watching it as an adult kinda made me laugh. Things that scare us as children are usually not scary as adults at all.

But some movies whether u are a kid or adult will always scare you.

My five most scary are

Gigli is the scariest movie ever....trust me....miracle that i didn'T died when i watched it....

event horizon gave me nightmares.
The Shining
Suspiria, not the killings but the dreamlike imagery creeped me out.

Drag Me To Hell has to be one of the five... it may have been the cinema atmosphere, but people walked out of that in the first fifteen minutes, and I was holding my friend's hand by the end of it.

Edit: oh, and I forgot to mention that after I got home from that film I did not go to bed that night.

Drag me to hell is an awesome movie. Its hilarious and scary.

"Scary" movies don't scare me. Ever. I get a little squeamish when I see the blood (if it doesn't look too fake), but that's about it. Ok I'll admit, Blair Witch Project freaked me out just a little, before I knew it was fake. Also, though I didn't find it scary, the Final Destination series was a good one.

the original Night of the Living dead made in 1969 while watching it in the middle of the night with no lights on, doors locked, and no noise except for the movie...that'll mess with your mind a little bit. but nothing beats playing Doom 3, that game scared me worse that any movie.

The ones that still scare me, even after multiple viewings :

1. Stanly Kubrick's "The Shining"
2. Dawn of the Dead (Original)
3. Jaws
4. House on Haunted Hill (Original - just for one scene when you look up and a ghost is RIGHT THERE)
5. Intruders (A TV movie based on the book by Budd Hopkins - just for one scene where a woman looks out her window at night to see a road crew, then looks out again and they are all starring up at her)

The last two are weak in the rest of them but deserve kudos for their one scene that still works. The first three are just classics through and through.

Yeah, really scary, monsters jumping out at you from the dark. So scary. :rolleyes:

About as scary as someone sneaking up behind you going boo. That's it.

Play Silent Hill if you want real mind raping psychological freakishness, not cheap surprises.
