Yeah, me too. There's another topic started on it I think in this section, but oh well.

I originally thought it would be an overhyped flop, but word is going around that it is the scariest movie since The Exorcist. Strong claim, I know. I definetely want to see it now.

The hype is strong for this one.

Any links to download it? It's not out in Australia and I'm eager to see it.

Don't think so, but I'm sure they're finishing up the DVDs already and they'll be out soon.

Doubt it will come to Australia though....

Not even coming to the movies here that's why I'm asking for a download.

Not necessarily soon. I just checked VideoETA and it says, "On Video/DVD: Estimated for February 2010".

I saw it. It's fantastic. It's like someone lurked in the Ghosts & Hauntings Thread here @ UM, and wrote a script off of what they read.

Thanks for the review. I have had a hard time finding anyone that saw it.

just watched this last night and i must say that it has lived up to the hype. great movie and really creepy, kind of leaves you with that intense, nervous feeling by the end of the movie which you def makes you just want to talk about the movie. there has been a lot of comparison with this movie and the Blair Witch project but in all honesty, i would say that Paranormal Activity was a much better movie. i would recommend this movie wholeheartedly. But, beware, as if you go watch this movie just be prepared for squealing young girls, especially in those moments where there is an absolute need for total silence. there is a lot of sound effects in this movie that make this movie for the most part.

Oopsie, that was me- maybe the Mod Squard should merge the two threads?

I have to say I am looking forward to seeing this movie! I might wait until it is a tad closer to Halloween for the scary factor hehehe

Shall I let you come over to Myspace and let you Twitter my Yahoo until I Google all over your Facebook?

I went to see this movie tonight.

I am a huge horror movie lover, love them all, but not because they scare me but just.. because.. and to be honest none of them ever have really scared me...

But this movie. Holy hell. This is terrifying.

Seriously, you all need to go watch it. I don't think there is a person here who would'nt be creeped the heck out.

Saw it last night and have to say I was pretty disappointed. Didn't scare me at all. I was actually getting pretty bored by the middle and found the rest of the audience's reactions more entertaining than the movie. It got to the point where something "scary" would happen and I would be trying to figure out what special effect device they used to pull it off. The ending was terrible. Very disappointed.

The more I read about it, the more it seems to not be THAT new in terms of what we've seen before. I hear a lot of scary scenes involve the female just standing there.
