Wow, that was all quite interesting and though I'm sure that is not the scope of your dreams I understand exactly what you mean.

The thing is when I'm saying being able to taste, and feel something in your dream how do you already know what something already tastes like, smells like, feels like etc.

This is where your bit of information about how we can connect to a "cosmic consciousness" because determining that our brain works from electricity, or at least many types of energy, so does our world, what we see, and how we see it is all determined by energy, and electrical "thought/memory". Electromegnetic stimulation, with photons create the feilds we see in, and is all controled through the again energy, that permiates everything. Therefore I don't see how we could not be able to astral project, CRV/OBE, or anything along those lines.

People throughout the world and time have known about this "energy" as our spirits, and us in general, its where it comes from that we can't explain and therefore will not accept that fact.

As for your own experiences you know exactly what I mean by being able to see something without physicaly, or mentally knowing what is there, where it is, and what it is may need to be kept "hush, hush" because privacy, and the world would change if everyone knew how to do it...

Obviously a persons experíences are intensely personal. When those experiences are outside the norm of human experiences, they become even more so.

Before the advent of the internet and forums like this, there were very few places or people where i could safely discuss my life's experiences. As i grew from childhood to adult hood i discovered; first that not every one was like me, second that some peole were, and third, that the commonality of öur "experiences is suggestive of several things".

First", an independent objective reality for them.

Second, an innate human ability, just like a photographic memeory or the ability to play perfectly from memeory any musical score.

Third a limited interconnectedness of both individual minds and a sort of ubermind, which a spiritually aware person might call god, or another might identify as a cosmic consciousness.

When those three realisations, and some practical physical realities, combined in my early 20's i was forced to confront a universe both more complex, and more diverse than i had ever imagined. (and my imagination has always been exceptional) It was comparable to the instant in my early childhood when i became aware of what my sapience was, and how it was both a part of my organic heritage, and also a unique physical ebntity in itself.

Something that had a multitude of parts; could be studied, improved and utilised to maximise my human potential., but was also a self aware and self directed entity in itself.

I dont know that we can dream those things we have no experience of. But i can see how it might work.

For example, if i dream of eating a snake, but i have never reallt eaten one, i might recall from my memory the taste of a chicken, a fish, or a combination of those tastes. Imagination can create new tastes and thus memory of those tastes. In our dreams our subconscious can call up thse imagined tastes, just as readilly as the real memeories, of real tastes.

Good points, right along the lines of what I was talking about.

Though with dreams and being able to taste something I was thinking, because smelling is tasting, and tasting is smelling even knowing the smell of something could help you taste it in your dreams.

OK, now for an example to what I meant and to better describe what happens to me often. Where someone would say "this is just like I dreamed it would be", where say someone has never tasted a cuisine in a different part of the world but dreams about it. They then find it, smell it, and take everything in like it was their dream (or along those lines) and then when they taste it and smell it, they KNOW its the same as in your dream.
