Here is what I think.

Somebody acquired some old NASA related prints.

They examined one of the few sources on the Internet for further curiosity. Like, LPI, which offers low resolution Apollo images.

In the case of their Apollo 10 images, there is the secondary problem of some greenish tint on the original film prints.

That is mentioned in Apollo 10 photo debriefing - Case 340.

Lunar Surface Observations

Color

The lunar maria were described as brown at high sun angles, and greyish brown near the terminator (the color reproduced in frame 5149 of landing site 2 was described to approximate the real color in the latter case). The crew reiterated their commentary which accompanied the TV transmission following TEI where they noted a color mottling of Mare Serenitatis, light brown and tan brown, as compared to the darker "chocolate brown'' color of Mare Tranquillitatis." The astronauts emphasized the lack of any green tints which are apparent in some of the color film.

Images like those from Magazine M-

This, of course, is covered by statements such as "the mares are green" with vegetation.

Or, images from Magazine N-

No. You're assumption is incorrect. IMO.

Any thread involving you, TALM has just expanded like the big bang (which I suppose you have pictures of also). You fill up the pages claiming you have this and that and here we are after 35 pages of another thread in which you have posted nothing. Unless you can put your "proof" onto one page I suggest you don't bother. Its beginning to get monotonous.

I agree with the monotonous aspect. I didnt think the thread would go this far. I just started it to find others opinions of the Astronomer who the thread was about along with opinions of his research. Plus it gives me great insight from a great group of people who know what is to be knowable in the field of space, and who knows, perhaps even time itself.

I dont like playing the part of the (tease) because I certainly know how I come across looking and all of the evil observations that could come my way. In my quest for knowledge it is just a price I will have to pay (for now).

For the people who are tired of this thread or the opinions expressed by others, I would suggest that perhaps you dedicate more time to a UFO, Mars life, Moon pyramid, or remote viewing thread or perhaps just move over to the BigFoot page. Perhaps you would feel more comfortable there knowing they are a safer subject? I mean.............thats what I would do.

For the rest of you........Welcome to Unexplained Mysteries!!!!!!!!! (A unique place with a very unique subject at hand)

Peri explained how the photos/prints can take on a green appearance over time.

Here's a photo of the Moon that I took last month...

Posted Image

No strange phenomenon there.....but back in April it was a different story.

Will find the April picture later.

And here comes the April picture:

Quote

As promised.

The anomalies that appeared in a photo of mine while snapping the Easter Full Moon in April.

Moon is bright light at the bottom.

Posted Image

One shows a Moon...obviously. A nominal view. Looks just like the Moon, framed in the center of the picture, zoomed in a bit...nice.

Then your anomaly is posted as if there's something to compare. You have to tell us that the Moon is that blob at the bottom of the picture, because it's not really recognizable.

If I take your description as fact, it seems obvious that you can't actually see any anomaly whatsoever, save the one caused by the photographer.

Care to explain the anomaly as you see it????

I don't know if there was any dispute...but it is a tragic scene, without a doubt.
